NFL Draft - Cam Newton Declares as Underclassmen

Underclassmen Update Report:

QB Cam Newton - Auburn

Auburn QB Cam Newton declared for the NFL Draft, completing his magical stay in the SEC. We will have an extensive Underclassmen Report in the January Newsletter out next week. Newton's teammate DT Nick Fairley will announce today his intentions to enter the NFL. He has the potential to be the top overall selection with a strong postseason.

Cobb and Ridley Declare for NFL Draft
With the Jan. 15th deadline approaching for underclassmen to declare for the NFL Draft, highly regarded prospects continue to turn pro. Both Randall Cobb of Kentucky and Stevan Ridley of LSU were the latest skilled position players to enter the NFL Draft 2011. Prospects will have three days after the deadline to rescind their decision and return to the college ranks.
