The college football rankings turned upside down for the second week in a row with several huge upsets. Two top five clubs, Southern Cal and Wisconsin lost to conference rivals and fell noticeably in the standings along with several other ranked teams, as 11 of the top 25 clubs lost as we reached the halfway point of the regular season. Over the past two weeks, 9 teams ranked in the top ten lost key games in pursuit of the national title. LSU remained undefeated with a thrilling win over a tough defending national champion Florida club that was probably the best game of the early '07 season. LSU moves into the top spot off that impressive victory. USC was stunned by a charged up Stanford club that posted their best victory since the John Elway days of the early ‘80s.
