At the halfway point of the NFL season, the first-round draft order shows many surprise teams in early selections. The upcoming NFL Draft 2027 features several highly touted QBs who will be very coveted come April.

The Jets sit in the envied position of holding three top ten selections in the first round as a result of prior trades of CB Sauce Gardner and DT Quinnen Williams. They have in addition to their own 1st round pick, the Cowboys and Colts first round choices. Both those selections are in the top ten currently with the Indy top pick moving up weekly with a major house cleaning under way.

Currently, the winless LA Chargers hold the first overall selection. It is one of the shocking developments through the first half of the NFL season. The Chargers were considered a strong playoff contender off recent performances. They are the only winless club in the NFL.

Both the Titans and Browns, two old reliable top ten selectors hold two #1 picks currently. The Titans are again in the running for the first overall selection, in addition to the Bears top pick. The Browns hold two mid first round selections at this point.

Surprisingly, the Eagles and Texans, two divisional winners in recent seasons hold top seven draft choices at the midseason point.
